Mary Barra named GM CEO: First Woman to Run a Major Automaker

A professor shared this news with me this morning, knowing how I would be affected by it- It's relationships like these that I am thankful for: sharing knowledge, useful, inspirational, news-worthy knowledge that I am inevitably grateful for in friends, family and peers.

GM named Mary Barra as their 5th CEO in the last five years. Barra is the first woman to run a major U.S automaker. More importantly her credentials, experience and insider approach will be a positive tool for GM's turnaround.
